I have purchased numerous purse handles from your shop by mail. It is nice to actually see the shop and certainly wish I was closer to browse through your numerous bolts of intriguing fabric.

Judy G.

You might want to see the drawing on page 2 of 2 at this site. It illustrates how to "square" the bottom o0f a bag by creating a triangle. How good are you at drawing :-)

P.S. I love the large, colorful tote you created for the store!

OK - We finalized our approach to this stunning (did I say stunning!!) quilt.
This is Moda’s Dominique II Basket Bounty and has been set up as a Block of the Month by Moda. Millie P’s is taking a different approach to this quilt due to the fact that the cotton quilt itself is made up of different variations of baskets and is self-explanatory. The twist to this stunning quilt is that once the baskets are pieced, it has wool appliqué flowers hand sewn in each basket block. For our sample, we are choosing to use Cosmos variegated thread (available at Millie P’s) to give this quilt a unique look. Here is the approach we are taking:
(1) You can order the quilt top and wool for a price of $245. This includes the cotton, wool, border of your choice (4 colors to choose from) and binding.
(2)	If you wish to purchase your backing from us, you will receive a 15% discount at time of purchase.
(3)	You can also choose, if you wish, to take a wool appliqué class. The session will be 6 hours in length giving you time to work on your blocks and receive instruction - - tips and techniques. This class will be held in mid-June to give you time to complete the majority of your basket blocks so you can begin working on your appliqué in class. The cost of this custom class is $45.
(4)	If you wish to approach this as a block of the month, just join our Embroidery Club (third Sat. of each month from 1:00-3:00). $10/month - bring your completed basket and Terry will help you with your wool appliqué. Note: You still need to purchase your kit ahead of time with this approach.
Quilt size is 70” x 80”.
Limited number of kits available.
Pay before April 15th and receive a 10% discount on quilt top and wool bringing the price to $220.50
